Wedding photography package calculator
A wedding is far more than the hours on the day. Add up coverage, editing and every meeting and drive, put a cost on each hour, add the second shooter, album and travel, and see the package price that keeps your margin after processing fees. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

Costs and margin
Not sure of your CODB per hour? Work it out with the cost of doing business calculator. Enter your own processor's rates; the 3% + $0.30 shown is an example input. The price is rounded to the cent before fees and profit are worked out. Taxes are not included.
How it works
Hours = coverage + editing + meetings, travel and admin. Time cost = CODB per hour × hours. Total cost = time cost + second shooter + album + travel. Price = (total cost + fixed fee × payments) ÷ (1 − margin − processing %).
Worked example (the values above): 8 + 30 + 6 = 44 hours at $67.22 is $2,957.68 of time. Add a $600 second shooter, a $450 album and $120 of travel ($1,170.00) and the package costs $4,127.68. With 3% + $0.30 on each of 3 payments and a 25% margin: ($4,127.68 + $0.90) ÷ (1 − 0.25 − 0.03) = $4,128.58 ÷ 0.72 = $5,734.14. Processing takes $5,734.14 × 3% + $0.90 = $172.92, leaving $1,433.54 profit, 25.0% of the price. Spread over 44 hours of work, the package earns $130.32 an hour before costs.
